  • Jerome Clothiers was founded by retailers for retailers. Beginning with a vision ‘together we are stronger’. JC has made a name for itself as a quality supplier and reliable partner in the MTM business. Launched in 2017, JC was the brainchild of two Australian MTM companies, who combined their passion, knowledge and relationships to give fresh solutions to MTM retailers and their changing needs.

By working directly with manufacturers, JC has been able to play a coordinating role with tailors, suppliers, manufacturers and forwarders. Expectations of customers are high, and where previously the supply chain in MTM has been unreliable, JC has stepped in to provide strong operations and ultimately confidence.

Across all of our offering we have always focused on providing high value to our customers: high quality product, high quality services (support, software etc), and a fair and competitive price. By focusing on total value, we stay true to our values as a company and stay relevant to our customers over the long term.

  • "Made to measure" refers to clothing that is customised to fit an individual's unique body measurements and style preferences. Unlike off-the-rack clothing, made-to-measure garments are tailored to your specific size and may allow you to choose fabric, design elements, and other personalisation options. It's a step above mass-produced clothing in terms of fit and customisation, though not as individualised as fully bespoke clothing.

  • The primary difference between "ready to wear" (RTW) and "made to measure" (MTM) clothing lies in customisation and fit. Ready to wear, or off-the-rack clothing, is mass-produced in standard sizes, readily available for purchase, and designed to fit a range of body shapes within these sizes. In contrast, made to measure clothing is customised to an individual's unique body measurements and style preferences, often involving professional measurements, personalised fabric and design choices, and pattern adjustments. This provides a more tailored and comfortable fit, making MTM an intermediate option between fully bespoke and off-the-rack clothing.
