Welcome to the third instalment of the Jerome Journal.
Compared to previous, this edition is a little different. For greater customer access, user experience and information, plus sustainability mindfulness, we present this edition as an online journal only.
A quick recap on the two previous journals will show you the acceleration Jerome is bringing to our retailers. A new soft-jacket make, a Blouson Program covering five different models, multiple new sneaker models, expanded fabric & lining collections, a suite of new design features across all men’s and women’s products, and visually enhanced software.

Each season, with our retail partners front of mind, Jerome endeavours to present a refreshing array of contemporary products, new design features, modern fabric collections, and additional software capabilities. We welcome the challenge to innovate, to push into the next chapter of MTM, to fulfil the journey in delivering enhanced selling opportunities for you.
This season is no different. Launching a Gilet Program, Field Jacket Program, measurement conversion tools, and soon to be Knitwear Program, we’re always working on a lot for our partners.

Introducing the field jacket, where style meets functionality. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this modern-fitting jacket boasts an array of impressive features, including a hidden two-way zip, a concealed hood possibility, action back panelling, and internal self-fabric patch pockets.
Featuring signature zig-zag top stitches, YKK hardware, and a lightweight interlining for shape retention, this jacket seamlessly combines intricate details with modern style.
Additionally, the stretch waist cinch with metal locks, several internal and external pockets, and a convenient self-fabric hanger loop elevate its practicality to new heights.
For the launch of the gilet program Jerome is offering four different models - Reversible, Panelled Reversible, Quilted, and the All Seasons. All models share design similarities, with each also featuring something unique to that particular style. We suggest trying them all to find your favourite, whilst also strengthening your selling opportunities having a breadth of options for your customer.

Olmetex, based in Italy, is the gold standard in weather proof fabrics globally. A Como-based company established in 1954 through the intuition of its founder to satisfy the evident market demand for technical fabrics. Working together with leading companies in the fashion sector has allowed Olmetex to develop strategic synergies in the creation of innovative and exclusive products.
Olmetex don’t create ordinary fabrics. Milled for use 365 days of the year, our selections are water repellent with a natural stretch for ultimate comfort. Made from 100% polyester weighing 100gr, it’s very lightweight with a super silky hand-feel.
The practicality of the gilet is also one of its key benefits. It’s at home on the golf course with your slacks and spikes, or on the slopes in your ski gear. The more recent iterations are where Jerome sits; an upscale, lifestyle wardrobe piece worn regularly in combination with jeans, chinos, overcoats, and more.
The fit of the Jerome gilet is modern without being too slim. The length is proportional, and there is plenty of freedom to move your arms with a generously deep armhole. Our thought is that it should have shape but remain comfortable, with the mindset to not over-engineer the end fit for the customer.

KNITWEAR – COMING SOON
Discover our collection of versatile and stylish knitwear. Launching in Q3, the knitwear program entails six classic styles that compliment the MTM product suite.
Unlike other products in the Jerome suite, knitwear will be RTW on launch. The ethos behind this decision is that we wanted a service solution that a RTW stock program fulfils, whilst meeting the requirements of speed, lower order quantities, no or low inventory costs, and super simple delivery.
Stock can be ordered one piece at a time, or in multiple styles, colours and sizes within an order. We’re giving you the option to have single (drop-ship) deliveries, or hold inventory as you need.

FW23 COLLECTION
Get ready for winter now; the FW23 collection represents both elegance and style. The seasonal portion of this release focuses on European suppliers, and our commitment to partner with the best specialist mills.
In this latest release our seasonal highlights focus on soft Italian corduroys from Pontoglio, luxurious 100% camel hair from Loro Piana, wool-cashmere jacketing from Drago, varying weights of wool overcoating from VBC and Angelico, and lastly seasonal blends of heavy wool/silk/linens and wool/cotton/silks from Loro Piana and VBC to provide great warmth and variety throughout the collection.
The Suitings & Jacketings folders in the existing house collection have performed so well we round out this release with 53 additions of core options. Performance focused with stretch and poly-blends, this entry price level collection has proven very popular.

There is a never-ending list of incredible ideas at Jerome HQ. Our dedicated team regularly bring a fresh lens on software enhancements, designs, product, customer service, and more. We filter any thought process through the idea of ‘how do we become a better supplier for our retailers?’. These ideas foster creativity, push our current boundaries, and accelerate us to bring a new dynamic to MTM.
Between now and the end of 2023 our software system will have multiple enhancements with a focus on better UX flow, richer visuals, improved communication, and all with backbone of increased speed and stability.
Slowly released over time, Jerome is refreshing our brand and the supporting documents we provide customers. You can expect improved Design Guides, Measurements Charts, Measurement Guides and more to come.

The next feature, a detachable quilted or knitted zip inlay. An item already available on the Hybrid Jacket, this new option is now available to select for the overcoat program. Practically speaking, it makes perfect sense to be able to add that extra layer of warmth and versatility to your overcoat, and to remove when it’s a slightly warmer winter’s day.

While not outwardly visible, Jerome have added new fly closing options to the trouser program. The french fly adds a diagonal internal panel to keep the trousers sitting clean through the front waistband. When creating customer garments, sometimes it’s the small sartorial details that only the customer will know about that feel the most special. Seen often on bespoke trousers, the french fly is a nice subtle detail to offer.
