There are various trouser makes that influence the appearance and comfort of your customer. Specifically, we are referring to the internal construction of the waistband. Offering both machine-made and handmade features, with varying degrees of handwork, we proudly offer a wide range of choice catering to every retailer or customer preference. We offer four distinct makes to ensure you find the right construction.

TRADITIONAL MAKE. Our most popular make option, the Traditional offers an extensive array of designs and construction. The inner waistband can be crafted with either firm, medium or soft interlining, with the inside of the waistband featuring rubber Snugtex grip tape to ensure a securely tucked-in shirt. This make boasts an impressive level of craftsmanship, including hand finishing the waistband dinner split, coin pocket, pick stitching, blind attached belt loops, back pockets with D-bar tacks, and button attachment.

TRADITIONAL WITH PLEATED WAISTBAND CURTAIN. A step up in comfort from our Traditional make, this make showcases a pleated waistband curtain which adds both flexibility and a sense of sartorial elegance. Additionally, the Snugtex grip tape around the inner waistband has been replaced with optional Snugtex grip tabs, offering a refined alternative.

HANDMADE MAKE. Our Handmade make encompasses all the features of the Traditional with Pleated Waistband Curtain, but now with additional hand finishing such as buttonholes, button attachment, and a fly finished with handmade pick stitching, resulting in a harmonious blend of precision and artisanal quality.

SELF FABRIC MAKE. The Self Fabric construction exhibits our softest waistband available, removing the inner structure which instantly lends an air of casual relaxation to the trouser. We highly recommend this option for those seeking to create a pair of casual cotton trousers.
